Of course "ALL the attention is on Russia."  It's just like our government throwing us another red-herring.  Don't get me wrong, "Russia" hacking into the systems is VERY egregious and maybe warrants a response against what could be considered “an act of war. However, ultimately, Russia, isn’t the problem. What - IS - the problem for me is the fact that it exposes the fact -THAT IT CAN BE DONE.  And even more important is what the information is that's been leaked.  Here a video clip explaining exactly what I mean.

Happy New Year! Now, let's get to work!

Limited government works when the citizens are self-governing. "Only a virtuous people," declared Benjamin Franklin, "are capable of freedom." (1)

"Grassroots" is a term meaning to start from the ground up. Subsidiarity is a technical term for efforts to keep governance as local as possible. Starting with self-governance, family governance, church, neighborhood... on up to city, state, and so on. (2)

If we want to see changes at higher levels of government, we need to start with ourselves and be the change in our homes, workplaces, communities. Then, when it is our season, we can accept the duty to participate in our city, state, and higher levels of government. We need to get involved.

I want to challenge personal involvement in changing Illinois for the better.

Let's pray for numerous volunteers to join Randy's campaign, in whatever capacity they are able, to make a difference in neighborhoods, cities, and the state.

Of course, it should be obvious, the right to life is the first and most fundamental right.

Let's pray that we and our fellow citizens more fully understand the worth, dignity and right to life of all, including the most vulnerable among us.

Oh what a great hope we have in Jesus!

I pray for Illinois and for it's citizens to know this great hope. I pray for revival among Christ's churches in Illinois to share the Good News through words and acts of love, mercy, and justice.

I love this message from Kristan Hawkins at, "Politicians aren’t gods. They aren’t miracle workers. They are humans just like everyone else... When people put all their faith and trust in a politician, they are bound to end up disappointed and facing despair... But hope doesn’t come from humanity, from politicians. It comes from God... Politics is important. Government is necessary. But neither should replace what gives humanity their true hope and peace, which is the love of God, the focus of this very Christmas season. Terrorism, Persecution, and Unity in our Diversity

I was thinking about international events, the Berlin terror attack yesterday and church bombings in Egypt last week, in particular, and request that we pray for those that are victims of terrorism and persecuted for their faith.

Also pray for America and Illinois that we might find unity in our diversity, and what do we have to be united on? The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Liberty and Justice for all. E Pluribus Unum: out of many, one.

This is such an important message that transcends so much of what divides us.

An Appeal to Heaven!

As Randy starts his campaign for Governor of Illinois, I would like us, as prayer partners, to make a concerted effort to "appeal to heaven."

This was a slogan used on the flags of the first sea cruisers commissioned by George Washington personally before the official Continental Navy. Called the Washington's Cruisers or Pine Tree flag, it was a symbol of the dependence they put on God for their cause.

We need to depend on God as we passionately call upon His favor over Randy's campaign.

"Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD." Joel 1:14

PRESS RELEASE - Randy Stufflebeam Announces Early Entry Into Governor's Race

On Thursday, December 15, 2016, @ 1:30 P.M., in the Press Room at the State Capitol, Randy Stufflebeam announced his candidacy for the 2018 race for Governor of Illinois.  Guided by his strong connection with and fidelity to both the federal and state constitutions, he chose this date to make the official announcement of his gubernatorial campaign because this was the date in 1970 the current Illinois State Constitution was ratified.

Born in 1960 in Chicago and raised in a small town in Illinois, Randy received his formative education in both public and private schools. In 1980, Randy joined the Marine Corps, swore to an oath, and spent the next 22 years of his life supporting and defending our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That oath he swore to meant something very special to him.

After his retirement from the Marines in 2003, he became painfully aware that the most dangerous enemies of the Constitution were of the domestic type and were more of a threat to his country than any foreign enemy he had ever faced as a marine. Consequently, politics entered his life. His plan is to bring back an authentic constitutional consciousness to Illinois politics and fight for the faithful support of its Constitution in all areas of state government. This is his mandate for the people of Illinois. In order to do this Stufflebeam has chosen to represent the Constitution Party to communicate his message.

Randy has been the Chairman of the Constitution Party of Illinois, Chairman of the Midwestern United States Region, and Vice-Chairman of the national party.  He ran for Governor of Illinois in 2006, receiving a record breaking 19,020 officially recorded votes as a write-in candidate.  In 2010, he ran for the U.S. Senate, where the opposition, through their General Council, was able to keep him off the ballot by rejecting enough signatures to stop his campaign just 65 signatures short of the required 25,000.

Most legislators, he believes, ran and got elected for the right reasons but found that their hands were tied by the corrupt machinery.  This candidate says it’s time to think outside the box, and "the box is the left-right paradigm that was surreptitiously designed long ago to keep us forever fighting, forever limiting beneficial accomplishments, and forever divided". Noting the problems with unfunded pensions out of control, a 13 billion dollar deficit, increasing layoffs and unemployment, and families too often unable to support themselves, Randy believes it’s time to do something different.

Bipolar Disorder


Here's the deal in 7 parts:



Before I even get into the Bi-Polar issue, the first thing you need to understand is that you REALLY don't know who controls the Republican and Democrat parties.

If there really are that many conservatives in the Republican Party (especially here in Illinois), how is it that you consistently elect people like Topinka and Rauner? Do you REALLY think it is the voters of Illinois?? If the Republican Party really is made up of a majority of conservatives, then why, pray tell, is it so hard for you to elect an actual conservative, first within your own party through the primaries and secondly in a General Election (Hold your “RINO” diatribe, I’ll address that below)?

To be honest (and I always try to be), I do believe that those who hold to "conservative" values (even here in Illinois) actually outnumber those who hold to "Liberal/Progressive" values.  The problem is that most have realized that their conservative voice has been squashed by those who are actually in control of the two-party-duopoly ( and yes, this includes the Republican Party).

A Mental Disorder


Years ago, talk show host, Michael Savage, wrote a book called “Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder.” While I don’t entirely disagree with his premise, I’m beginning to think it is more of an infectious disease and that conservatives are falling victim to the disorder as well, though maybe displaying slightly different symptoms.

Consider this:

Every election, conservatives, and in particular, Republicans, will put up several candidates who for the most part could be considered outstanding conservatives, yet, who gets elected? The person who is about as close to the liberal side of the fence that you can get.

Let’s take a look a three specific elections that will exemplify what I’m saying the best:

The 2006 Illinois Republican Primary: You had Jim Oberweis, Bill Brady, Judy Barr-Topinks, Ron Gidwidtz, and Andy Martin. The order of conservatism from most to least (in my opinion) was Bill Brady, Jim Oberweis, Ron Gidwidtz, Andy Martin, and then Judy Barr-Topinka. Now doubt, Topinka was the worse and yet she was the one elected. In fact, I believe she was actually more liberal than Blagojevich and you know where he is right now.The 2012 Republican Presidential Primary: While there were almost 20 candidates at some point or another, you had Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Huntsman, Paul, Perry, Romney, Santorum. While I’m not going to try to discuss the order of conservatism among these.) , suffice to say, “It wasn’t the most conservative that got elected.” In fact, in my opinion, the worst of them all got elected.The 2014 Illinois Republican Primary: You had Bill Brady (for the 3rd time), Kirk Dillard, Bruce Rauner, and Dan Rutherford. While there was certainly some competition for who was the most liberal, Rauner won the primary.

While there were certainly others, these are probably the most in your face examples. Now here’s the deal… Every time the most (or almost most) liberal candidate gets elected by the “conservative” party, there’s the same old song and dance:

Have You Had Enough?? - Part 2 (2012)

Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow Constitutionalists;


As you all know, I just wrote a piece two days ago asking, “Have you had enough, yet?” Quite honestly, I thought I had more than enough evidence to make my case in asking you that question. Then I started thinking, “What if??” What if by some miracle there might actually be enough conservatives to prove me wrong?  Then I thought, maybe, just maybe I should have waited till after the Illinois Republican Party convention to make such a bold argument and ask the question, “Have you had enough yet?”

Then today, I get an email with “Illinois Railroad at the IL GOP Convention June 9 2012” in the subject line, and that contained a link to a video clip of the “vote” for delegates to the Republican National Convention, which totally destroyed any second thoughts that I had and completely vindicated my question.

Have You Had Enough?? - Part 1 (2012)

Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow Constitutionalists;


I know the messages have been sporadic at best and I apologize for that.  To say that I have been busy for the past several months (actually years) would actually be an understatement.  So, first of all, I’d like to catch you all up as to what is/has been happening lately.  As some of you know, recently, I ran for Chairman of the Constitution Party.  I was not elected as chairman, but I WAS ELECTED AS VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION PARTY.  I am honored to be working with awesome patriots and constitutionalists.  Frank Fluckiger of Utah was elected as Chairman, Cindy Redburn of Missouri was elected as Secretary and Jim Headings of Tennessee was elected as Treasurer.

Secondly, I would like to thank you for all your support over the past several years as I ran for Governor and U.S. Senate as a constitutionalist.  The support of such fine patriots as you has meant the world to me.

This year we do not have a governor or senate race, but my work is not done.  The reason I ran was to bring true conservative leadership to Illinois. That goal still eludes me, but the pursuit is nonetheless worthy and probably even more so, given recent events.  My focus has always been to develop a strong and vibrant constitutional party, a place where true conservatives can find a home when they realize that their party has left them no other place to turn to.
