I was NOT elected as chairman of the Constitution Party National Committee.
However, I WAS ELECTED AS VICE-CHAIRMAN.
While certainly, I am somewhat disappointed in not being elected as chairman, I believe that I am where God wants me to be and I am content (at least for the moment).
First of all, I must thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible and our Father who directs my path.
Secondly, I must thank the folks from Illinois for the love and support that they have given me over the years. God has blessed me immensely with awesome friends and I am deeply honored and humbled by their commitment.
I need to thank Don Shrader (new Ohio State Chairman) for his support. He was campaigning hard for me there at the convention and tried to twist “the front runner’s” arm to run as my vice.
I also need to thank Audrey Queckboerner from Indiana, who made the nomination and Gary Dunlap from Illinois who made the second (though Gary had competition with Brad Carter).
Last, but certainly not least, I owe a debt of gratitude to my wife Lisa. We arrived in Nashville on Wednesday, April 18, OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. I have been married to the most beautiful and tolerant woman on the face of this planet and God was sure gracious to me with such a precious gift. We have been newlyweds for over 32 years now and the best is yet to come!
You all are incredible friends and I am an incredibly bless man to have you all in my life.
Now let’s all go kick some * * * ! ! !
